Domestic Installers Certificate
Course Objective
This course is suitable for those persons carrying out electrical work in dwellings who have no formal qualifications and seek to register to self certify their work to meet the requirements of the Building Regulations.
Certification
This is a nationally accredited course and is accepted by all the PART P register holders. Delegates will receive a Domestic Electrical Installer Qualification certificate following successful completion of the assessments for the all the competencies.

Applicable Building Regulations Electrical Safety legislation, regulations standards and terminology Pre work survey/inspection Safe isolation procedures Identification of unsafe electrical situations Earthing and bonding requirements Electrical test procedures Cable and component selection Installation and replacement of electrical components Checking the correct and safe operation of installed electrical components Recording of electrical test results and completion of certification Installing and/or rerouting cables Special Locations New circuit requirements Lighting installations Maintenance Supplies Entry Requirements:None
